To Maximize the life of your NiCd batteries:
1. Charge for a minimum of 20 hours before initial use.
Failure to do so will reduce the product’s battery life
significantly.
2. Do not store unit with the charging adapter attached
and plugged in.
3. Only recharge when the batteries are fully discharged
(or as close to fully discharged as possible).
4. Do not store in areas of high temperature or humidity.
5. After 3 months of non-use, the product should be fully
discharged and then recharged to maximize battery
power.
6. Use only the charger supplied with the product. If other
chargers are used, the batteries can fail causing damage to
the battery, product, or personal property.
NiCd batteries have a long useful life but at some time they
will need to be replaced. To purchase replacement batteries,
visit www.sharkvac.com
Note: 1. The On/Off switch must be in the “Off” position in
order to charge the unit. If the charging indicator
does not light, depress the On/Off switch once.
2. If the product has never been used or has been
stored for an extended period of time without use – it
will take several complete charge and discharge
cycles to realize the full operational time of your
product.

Afin de maximiser durée de vie utile de vos piles
Ni-cad:
1. Chargez les piles pendant au moins 20 heures avant
leur première utilisation. Sinon, vous réduirez la durée
de vie des piles de façon importante.
2. Ne rangez pas l’appareil avec son adaptateur de
chargement branché.
3. Ne rechargez les piles que lorsque elles sont
complètement (ou presque entièrement déchargées).
4. Ne rangez pas l’appareil dans un endroit humide ou à
température élevée.
5. Après 3 mois sans utilisation, les piles doivent être
entièrement déchargées et rechargées afin de maximiser
leur puissance.
6. N’utilisez que le chargeur fourni avec cet appareil.
L’emploi d’un autre chargeur pourrait entraîner un défaut
des piles pouvant entraîner des dommages aux piles, à
l’appareil ou à la propriété.
Les piles Ni-cad ont une longue durée de vie utile.
Cependant, il arrive qu’elles doivent être remplacées. Pour
vous procurer des piles de remplacement, visitez
www.sharkvac.com.
Remarque: 1. Le bouton d’alimentation doit être à la position
OFF pendant le chargement de l’appareil. Si le
témoin de chargement ne s’illumine pas,
appuyez une fois sur le bouton d’alimentation.
2. Si le produit n’a jamais été utilisé ou s’il a été
rangé pendant une longue période sans être
utilisé, plusieurs cycles de chargement et de
déchargement complets seront nécessaires à
lui donner sa durée de fonctionnement optimale.
